About

What I believe

1. Horses deserve to be understood, not just managed.
I believe training should build confidence, regulation, and willingness, not shut a horse down or simply make them obedient. The goal is not control for the sake of control. The goal is a horse that feels safe, clear, and genuinely connected.

2. The human is part of the training.
I don’t just work on the horse in front of me. I work with the whole partnership. Timing, feel, boundaries, self-awareness, confidence, and communication all shape the outcome. Supporting the human matters just as much as supporting the horse.

3. Good training should make life better, not more complicated.
I believe in practical horsemanship that transfers to real life. Whether we’re working on groundwork, riding, starting under saddle, or rebuilding foundations, the result should feel clearer, safer, and easier to continue at home.

My approach

My approach blends thoughtful training, emotional awareness, and clear communication. I value softness, but I also value honesty. I want horses to feel heard, and I want humans to become clearer, steadier, and more effective.

That means I’m not interested in surface-level fixes. I look at the full picture: behaviour, handling, ridden responses, confidence, patterns, and the relationship underneath it all.

Some horses need help building trust.
Some need better boundaries and clearer leadership.
Some riders need practical guidance, support, and a simpler way to understand what their horse is telling them.

Wherever you’re starting, I aim to meet you there.
